It is obvious that you are referring to Storm Emma, which ripped across the whole of the UK that July weekend, causing devastation nationwide. We are currently designing a brand new Aqua Park facility on the wakeboard lake, but this will be at least a 2 year project. It did get windy but being on open land near the sea what to people expect. Last weekend was the busiest on record for us and unfortunately at times, the showers struggled to keep up with demand but we just about made it ! It gets really crowded and everyone is always looking for somewhere to sit. I would recommend this as a good place to stay.
